Album Summary Score
100 gecs- 10,000 gecs (2023) After releasing a few singles and an EP in 2022, the famous hyperpop duo Laura Les and Dylan Brady return for their sophomore album, delivering the same song and dance of wonderfully nonsensical ear candy while also managing to craft an overall more tightly made joyride of a record compared to their debut. With tracks such as "Billie Knows Jamie" and "One Million Dollars", the duo still flexes their skills of unleashing explosive instrumentals. 10,000 gecs essentially acts as a strong statement as to what the duo aims to acheive with their music. Favorite track: 757

Least favorite track: I Got My Tooth Removed

100 gecs- 1,000 gecs (2019) The hyperpop debut album from Laura Les and Dylan Brady brings some of the most absurd and abrasive sounds in electronic music and utilizes them into strangely catchy tunes. From the viral sensation of "money machine" to the delightfully maddening ska tune of "stupid horse", the record doesn't overstay it's welcome and comes in and out like a frieght train. A hideous yet fairly fun refinement to the "MySpace" era of indie music. Favorite track: 800db cloud Least favorite track: I need help immediantly 7/10
Death Grips- Exmilitary (2011) With the combined talents of Zach Hill's percussion, "Flatlander"'s sample based and harsh electronic production, and MC Ride's brain shattering vocals, the Sacramento based, experimental hip-hop trio Death Grips came on the scene with a terrifying, eye-widening experience that touches on the darkest, most primal elements of human nature and the internet age. Favorite track: Takyon (Death Yon) Least favorite track: I Want it I Need It (Death Heated) 8/10
Death Grips- The Money Store (2012) Just one year after their first mixtape, Death Grips makes their studio debut with a much more layered and polished production, along with incredible lyrical content and hooks. Even with the massive overhaul in style, the trio maintains the same violent, sadistic nature their music aims to disturb the comfortable and intregue the disturbed. Favorite track: The Fever (Aye Aye)

Least favorite track: The Cage
